BIOGRAPHY My background in professional photography is in the field of photojournalism. For close to a decade (1992 to 2001), I was employed as a photojournalist in my hometown at The Burlington Post Newspaper (Metroland Media Group/Torstar Corporation), and contributed to an array of sister and cousin newspapers including: The Oakville Beaver, Mississauga News, Milton Canadian Champion, Flamborough Post, and Georgetown Independent. In addition to this extensive list, I regularly freelanced for Abbey Oaks News, Score Golf and Cover Story magazines, and even made an appearance in MacLeans on a special assignment that went national.

The photojournalist's role is one of constant adaptation. Further to working as a press photographer for the above mentioned media publications, my over 15 year career to date has involved countless jobs in many genres of photography such as: advertising, fashion, studio work and portraits, commercial, corporate, fine art, real estate, food and products, families and pets - the list is really endless. Today presents an opportunity to combine my many years of professional working experience with an even greater freedom to express creativity in my work. I continually strive to go above and beyond, which has surpassed client's wishes in the process, and generated an overwhelming response.

To date, I have photographed over 350 weddings. After expanding into wedding photojournalism in 1997 with a prominent wedding studio, and photographing almost 100 weddings in the two years there, I began accepting clients under my own name. This enables me to fully apply my true working experiences as a photojournalist to wedding days.

My professional affiliations include The NPPA (National Press Photographers Association), Better Business Bureau (Accredited) of South Central Ontario, and Canon’s Pro Services Membership. I am extremely grateful to all of those who have helped me achieve success in my profession, and I have accepted a role as mentor to students of today, so as to pass along what I have learned. A special thank you must as well go out to every individual, client, and company who bestows their trust upon me.

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”   Confucius
